Our Chianti has aromas of dried cherries, foraged mushrooms, rose hip jam, tomato leaf, and paprika with a silky, crisp, dryish medium body and a smooth, complex, medium-long dried leaves, leather, cherry tart, and tonka bean finish with a suggestion of oak flavor.
We are an Italian family-run winery, committed to excellent winemaking for over one hundred and fifty years. "The joy of living" is the inspiration behind our Candoni Etruscan Collection Wines. The Etruscans, who lived in Italy more than 2,500 years ago, introduced the grapevine becoming the first winegrowers. The richest source of information we have on those days are their paintings that depicted activities from their daily life and feasting.
