Ultra-luxury Tequila Komos Reposado Rosa is aged in Napa Valley Cabernet barrels for at least two months before bottling, and the result is a stunning expression of what a luxury Rosa tequila can be. The red wine barrels impart a beautiful pink hue like a fine french rosé and appealing flavors and aromas to add to the already delicious flavor profile of our blanco. The finish is long, rich, and very smooth, leaving the impression of chocolate covered strawberries behind it. Tequila Komos is an ultra-luxury tequila created by people with a great deal of history in the world of agave. Tequila Komos founder and CEO Richard Betts already saw success creating the brands Astral Tequila and Sombra Mezcal, and the NOM and distillery partner is Orendain, one of the four founding families of Tequila. These partners are committed to sustainable practices in tequila-making, including repurposing waste from production into bricks given to the people of tequila to build infrastructure, working with the same farming families for generations to grow their agaves, and fabricating the one-of-a-kind handmade porcelain bottle in Mexico to reduce carbon footprint and to employ more local population. Orendain is a woman-run distillery.
