This Cognac has a clear, golden amber color. Its subtle floral nose shows notes of honeysuckle and sometimes violet. It is spiced with a touch of licorice.
The Cognac and Pineau des Charentes are produced from the finest plots of sustainable-farmed vineyards solely in Petite and Grande Champagne, abundant in chalky limestone soils. Cognac production at the Chateau de la Peraudiere estate from Normandin-Mercier is performed by hand, just like it was in the 19th century.
