Tasting Notes

• Nose: Rich and complex, citrus, vanilla, and caramel with the distinctive floral note that defines Blanton's, more pronounced and intense than the Original at the higher proof

How to Enjoy

• Neat: Pour 1.5 oz into a Glencairn glass and give it 4 minutes. The higher proof opens up the complexity beautifully and the floral and citrus notes that define Blanton's Gold reveal themselves in full.
• With a few drops of water: 3 to 4 drops of still water softens the proof and brings the honey and dried fruit notes forward. A genuinely different and equally rewarding experience.
• Gold Old Fashioned: 2 oz Blanton's Gold, 1 sugar cube, 2 dashes Angostura bitters, orange peel, over a large ice cube. The higher proof holds up beautifully in the cocktail and the result is exceptional.
