Inside that decanter is a tequila built with the same care as the artwork around it. Clase Azul sources its agave from the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco, where 100% Tequilana Weber Blue Agave grows in red clay soil at high altitude, producing a naturally sweeter, more complex agave than lowland fruit. The agave is cooked slowly and fermented before the tequila rests a minimum of 8 months in American oak whiskey barrels, the step that gives Reposado its signature vanilla and caramel depth. The result pours at 40% ABV and drinks like a tequila made to be savored, not shot.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Rich and inviting, vanilla, caramel, and roasted agave with tropical fruit and a warm, sweet oak character.
• Palate: Silky and full-bodied, vanilla and caramel lead into roasted agave, dried fruit, cinnamon, and a warming oak sweetness.
• Finish: Long and warm, with lingering vanilla, caramel, and a gentle agave sweetness that fades slowly.

How to Enjoy

• Neat in a snifter: Pour 1.5 oz, give it 3 minutes, and let the vanilla and roasted agave open up. This is a sipping tequila, not a shooting tequila.
• On the rocks: One large ice cube. The slow dilution brings the tropical fruit notes forward and makes the silky texture even more pronounced.
• Clase Azul Margarita: 2 oz Clase Azul Reposado, 1 oz fresh lime juice, 0.75 oz agave nectar, shaken over ice and served up with a salted rim.
