Diplomatico Planas is a Ron Blanco Extra Añejo from Venezuela, aged for six years and then carefully filtered to a clear, smooth rum. It replaced Diplomatico's Blanco Reserva, keeping the same age but raising the strength to 47% ABV (94 proof). The result is a white rum with far more richness and texture than most.
It is rich and chewy, with notes of cappuccino and a nutty finish. Sip it neat, or use it to take a Daiquiri or Mojito up a level.
