Etsu Double Yuzu: A Citrus Bomb of a Japanese Gin

Etsu Double Yuzu turns up Japan's favorite citrus, building on Etsu's signature style with an extra helping of yuzu. Yuzu, juniper, coriander, licorice root, angelica and matcha macerate for seven days before distillation at the Akita Distillery in northern Honshu.

The nose bursts with yuzu and lemon peel, and the palate balances juicy citrus with gentle sweetness, juniper, soft herbs and light spice. Water from Japan's Ou Mountains brings it to a smooth 43%.

Etsu, whose name means joy or pleasure in Japanese, built its following on yuzu forward gin made with native Japanese botanicals. The Double series doubles down on a single citrus for an even more vivid pour.

Presented in an illustrated gift box with a glass, this edition is a bright, unexpected present for gin lovers, cocktail fans and anyone who has fallen for yuzu.
