Flor de Caña's Spresso starts with their renowned 7-year slow-aged Nicaraguan rum — naturally aged in small white oak bourbon barrels sealed with plantain leaves, on the fertile volcanic slopes of Nicaragua where the soil, climate, and water all contribute to an exceptionally smooth rum. That rum base is the foundation for this coffee liqueur, yielding a dry, intense black color, pronounced coffee essence, and a smooth finish that is rich without being cloying.
