Takara Sake built its US reputation brewing traditional junmai in Berkeley, California, and Hana Fuji Apple shows the more playful side of that same expertise. Rather than an artificial apple additive, this flavored sake is built to genuinely taste like biting into a ripe Fuji apple, crisp and true to the fruit rather than syrupy.
The low ABV and bright fruit character make it an easy aperitif or dessert pour, at home served solo the way a good rose might be, or worked into a lighter cocktail where its natural apple sweetness can do the heavy lifting instead of added syrup.
