Hancock's President's Reserve is a single barrel bourbon distilled, aged and bottled by Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, and bottled at an unusual 88.9 proof (44.45% ABV). It belongs to the same small family of single barrel Buffalo Trace releases as Blanton's and Rock Hill Farms, sharing that heavy crystal style decanter.
Because every bottle comes from one barrel, there is no batching to smooth things out. The result is a soft, elegant and deceptively easy bourbon that experienced drinkers keep coming back to, and it disappears from shelves quickly whenever an allocation lands.
