Jefferson's was founded in 1997 by Trey Zoeller and his father Chet, a renowned bourbon historian, in the spirit of Thomas Jefferson's own curiosity and experimental nature. That experimental DNA runs through every Jefferson's release, and the Pritchard Hill Cabernet Cask Finish is a prime example: a straight bourbon reserve finished in casks that previously held Cabernet Sauvignon from Pritchard Hill, one of Napa Valley's most celebrated and expensive wine appellations.

The result is a bourbon that carries dark fruit, cedar, and tannin complexity from the wine casks layered over the classic vanilla and baking spice of a well-made reserve bourbon. It is a conversation between two great American traditions.
