DESCRIPTION

100% blue agave silver tequila from Jose Cuervo, the original tequila house of Jalisco, paired with a limited edition clay cantarito cup.
🎁 Seasonal & Limited: Available While Supplies Last

The Original Tequila, Served the Traditional Way.

Jose Cuervo Tradicional Silver is made from 100% blue agave in Jalisco, Mexico, by the house that started it all. Cuervo is the original tequila distillery and the tequila used in the first ever margarita, and Tradicional Silver shows why: a bright, balanced spirit with sweet cooked agave, a little spice, a firm backbone, and a fruity edge. Bottled at 80 proof, it's just as good as a shot as it is in a cocktail.

This seasonal gift set pairs the bottle with a limited edition cantarito, the traditional clay cup used for the famous Jalisco cocktail of the same name. It's a limited release available while supplies last, and a fun, ready to give set for any tequila fan.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Fresh cooked agave with light pepper, citrus, and a soft sweet note
  • Palate: A balance of spice and sweetness, with bright agave, a firm, clean body, and a fruity overtone
  • Finish: Crisp and smooth, with lingering agave and a gentle peppery warmth

How to Enjoy

  • Classic Shot: 1.5 oz Tradicional Silver at room temperature or lightly chilled, with a lime wedge and a pinch of salt on the side.
  • The Cantarito: In the included cantarito: 2 oz Tradicional Silver, 1 oz fresh orange juice, 1 oz fresh grapefruit juice, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, a pinch of salt, ice, and top with grapefruit soda.
  • Classic Margarita: 2 oz Tradicional Silver, 1 oz fresh lime juice, 0.75 oz orange liqueur, shaken with ice and served in a salt rimmed glass.
  • Paloma: 2 oz Tradicional Silver, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, topped with grapefruit soda over ice with a salt rim. Simple and refreshing.

What Makes It Special

Jose Cuervo traces its roots to 1795, when the family received the first official license to make tequila, and its La Rojeña distillery in the town of Tequila is the oldest active distillery in Latin America. Tradicional is the house's 100% agave line, made the way the family has made tequila for generations. The cantarito, a hand shaped clay cup from Jalisco, keeps drinks cold and is the traditional vessel for the citrus packed cantarito cocktail, so this set gives you both the tequila and the authentic way to serve it.
