DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
Laird's 12 Year Old Rare Apple Brandy: Hand Selected and Hand Bottled
Laird's 12 Year Old Rare Apple Brandy is carefully selected from long aged barrels and hand bottled at 88 proof, the strength Laird's tasters chose as the ideal balance. Twelve years in oak give it a rich, buttery depth.
Expect aromas of pastry, butter and ginger, followed by baked apple, pear, vanilla and warm spice on a dry, velvety palate. The finish is long and tart, with apple at its heart.
Laird & Company has been making apple spirits since 1780 and calls itself America's oldest applejack and apple brandy distillery. The 12 Year Old sits near the top of the family's lineup and is released in limited batches.
Batch No. 24 earned 93 points and a Gold medal from the Beverage Testing Institute, and the bottle sells out quickly. It is a sophisticated, uniquely American gift for brandy and whiskey drinkers alike.
