Laphroaig has been making whisky on Islay's southern coast since 1815. Lore is their most ambitious bottling: a marriage of every key cask style in the distillery's inventory — first fill ex-bourbon, quarter casks, PX sherry, and long-aged stocks — creating the most complex and layered Laphroaig ever made. The peat is unapologetic at 48% ABV, wrapped in layers of vanilla, spice, dried fruit, and a chili pepper heat that sets it apart from everything else in the range.
