Tobermory Distillery has been the only distillery on the Isle of Mull since its founding in 1798, one of Scotland's oldest commercial distilleries. It produces two entirely different single malts from the same stills: the fruity, unpeated Tobermory and Ledaig, the robust, heavily peated expression named for the Gaelic word meaning safe haven.
Ledaig 10 Year is the core expression of the peated style: sweet on the nose with medicinal and spicy notes, building to peaty smoke and fresh vanilla on the palate, with the characteristic pepper and earth of an Island malt. A genuine alternative to Islay for peat lovers who want to explore beyond the well-known names.
