DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
Leopold Bros Three Chamber Peach Liqueur: Palisade Peaches, Brandy Strength
Leopold Bros Three Chamber Peach Liqueur starts with Palisade peaches from Talbott Farms on Colorado's western slope. The fruit is destoned, mashed and fermented for 12 days, then distilled into a peach brandy on the distillery's three chamber still.
The spirit is brought down slowly from 64% ABV over two months to protect its delicate aromas, then lightly sweetened with Belgian candi sugar and bottled at 40% ABV. It drinks more like a fruit brandy than a syrupy liqueur.
Leopold Bros is a family distillery in Denver run by brothers Todd and Scott Leopold, best known for reviving the three chamber still. According to their distributor, this is the first fruit brandy distilled in a three chamber still in over 200 years.
Released in limited quantities, it is a bartender favorite and a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves craft cocktails or Southern style peach desserts.
