Little Book Chapter 07 In Retrospect is Freddie Noe's 2023 release in the Little Book series, and it is the most ambitious blend in the line. Eight separate whiskeys are co mingled: 18 year, 17 year, 9 year, 6 year and 4 year Kentucky straight bourbons, 10 year and 6 year Kentucky straight ryes, and a 5 year straight malt whiskey finished in applewood smoked barrels.

Freddie Noe is the eighth generation of the Beam family, and Little Book is his personal playground. Each chapter is bottled once, never repeated, and released as its own idea. Chapter 07 looks back across the vault, which is exactly where the name comes from.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Layered oak and vanilla with dried fruit, applewood smoke, and a lift of rye spice.
• Palate: Deep and complex. Dark caramel, stewed cherry, cocoa and baking spice over old oak, with a gentle smoke thread through the middle.
