MD 20/20, better known by its nickname Mad Dog, comes from Mogen David, a winery that originally built its business supplying wine for Jewish religious holidays before MD 20/20 became its best known product by the 1970s. The name comes from the original 20 percent ABV, 20 ounce bottle format. Orange Jubilee is one of the flavors that has stuck around since the early lineup, a sign it earns its shelf space rather than riding on nostalgia alone.
