Old Fitzgerald Bottled in Bond is Heaven Hill's twice yearly wheated bourbon release, presented in the vintage style decanter. This one is the 7 year expression, distilled Fall 2019 season and bottled at 100 proof under U.S. government supervision as bottled in bond requires.

The Old Fitzgerald name goes back to the 19th century and the same wheated tradition that made Weller and Pappy famous. Heaven Hill releases these in spring and fall with the age statement changing each time, which is exactly why collectors chase specific decanters.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Honey, vanilla and soft wheat with orchard fruit and toasted oak.
  • Palate: Round and sweet. Caramel, baked pear and brown sugar over gentle spice and clean oak.
  • Finish: Long and soft, closing on vanilla, honey and light char.
