Old Forester Statesman was created in partnership with the Kingsman films, distilled exclusively for the Statesman brand and bottled at 95 proof (47.5% ABV). Barrels are selected from the warmest, most active spots in the warehouse, which is where the extra intensity comes from.

Old Forester has been sold by the same family before, during and after Prohibition, the only bourbon that can make that claim. Statesman sits slightly outside the core range, and because it was tied to a film release it has become a collector favorite rather than a shelf staple.
