Distilled and bottled at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, it carries the Weller family wheated mashbill: the same recipe DNA behind Pappy Van Winkle, with wheat standing in for rye as the secondary grain. Bottled at a full 107 proof, it delivers weight and depth while keeping the soft, sweet character the Weller name is built on.
William Larue Weller was credited by many as the first to produce Kentucky straight bourbon with wheat instead of rye. His whiskey got so popular that he stamped a green thumbprint on his barrels so buyers knew they had the real thing. That legacy is exactly what you taste here: sweet yet bold, with unusual floral notes and hints of vanilla.
