Adriano Ramos Pinto founded Casa Ramos Pinto in Porto in 1880 and quickly built one of the most innovative and enterprising names in Port wine, becoming responsible for half of the wine exported to Brazil by the early 20th century while earning generations of loyal customers across Europe.

The 20 Year Tawny is an indication-of-age Port, a blend of wines averaging 20 years of barrel aging in the Douro Valley's traditional lodges, where slow oxidative maturation transforms the wine into something rich, nutty, and complex. Served slightly chilled, it is a world-class after-dinner pour.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Dried fruit, toasted nuts, and caramel with hints of orange peel.
  • Palate: Rich and silky, with walnuts, dried apricot, toffee, and gentle spice.
