Tears of Llorona No. 3 is Germain Gonzalez Gorrochotegui's extra anejo, a 100% blue agave tequila aged in a combination of former scotch, sherry and brandy casks and bottled at 43% ABV in a 1 liter bottle. The label is his own handwriting, telling the legend of La Llorona, the Aztec princess whose ghost still wanders the water's edge.

Germain built this as a tequila that could sit beside great aged spirits rather than as a mixing bottle. The result is closer to a cognac in weight and complexity while never losing the cooked agave core that makes it tequila.
