Victor Trader Vic Bergeron opened his first Oakland restaurant in 1934 and invented the Mai Tai a decade later, becoming the founding figure of American tiki culture. The Trader Vic's spirits line carries that legacy forward, and the Spiced Rum is its everyday workhorse, a Caribbean rum base layered with warm spice for the tropical drinks the brand built its name on.
