Most non alcoholic sparklers are flavored grape juice. This one comes from Villa Sandi, a genuine Veneto sparkling house, and is made from wine that has had its alcohol removed rather than never fermented at all.
The result keeps the aromatics and the dry finish that make Il Fresco work at the table, so the person not drinking gets the same glass as everyone else.
