Official Prosecco DOC rose, dated and dry.
Prosecco rose only became legal in 2020, and Villa Sandi was among the estates ready for it. This Millesimato is vintage dated, a requirement of the category, and blends Glera with a small share of Pinot Nero for color and structure.
The result is more serious than a simple patio pink: finer bubbles, a touch more depth, and the kind of label that upgrades a dinner table without upgrading the budget much.
Tasting Notes
- Nose: Raspberry, pink grapefruit, and delicate bread crust.
- Palate: Dry and fine boned with cherry, citrus, and a persistent creamy bead.
- Finish: Long, savory, and dry with a mineral snap.
