DESCRIPTION
Bavaria's finest dark lager — Weltenburger Barock Dunkel is brewed at Kloster Weltenburg, the world's oldest monastery brewery, founded in 1050 AD. This award-winning dark lager is a masterpiece of Bavarian brewing tradition, delivering rich, complex flavor with remarkable smoothness.
Deep mahogany in color with a creamy tan head, Weltenburger Barock Dunkel opens with enticing aromas of roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel, and a hint of coffee. On the palate, it's smooth, full-bodied, and beautifully balanced — rich without being heavy, complex without being bitter. A dark lager that converts even those who think they don't like dark beer.

Bought for a gift gor a friend who was stationed in Germany near the Abbey and talks fondly of it. Was able to find it for a gift 5-6 years ago and it was a hit. Haven’t been able to find it again until now. It’ll be the favorite gift of the season.
