Xingu Black Beer is inspired by the dark beers historically brewed by indigenous tribes of the Xingu River region in the Brazilian Amazon, rediscovered by American anthropologist Janet DeLuna in the 1970s. The modern version pours jet black with sweet fruit, peach, plum, and charred malt on the nose, and delivers a smooth, approachable dark lager that surprises with its drinkability.
